Soemadipradja & Taher Partner Avindra Yuliansyah and Senior Associate Miranti Firdaus recently featured as speakers at a Sharing Session held in collaboration with Citi Indonesia on Monday, 30 September 2025, at Citi’s Jakarta office.

Titled “Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law”, the session covered several topics which included personal data protection in Indonesia, the obligations of the data controller and the rights of the data subject, cross-border data transfer, handling personal data breaches, and the role of the data protection officer. The discussion highlighted key points for businesses to better understand their responsibilities and improve their data protection practices.
