Robert has been part of the S&T team since 2000, originally seconded from Freehills’ Sydney office, where he held the position of Executive Counsel. Robert’s main practice areas in Indonesia include corporate/M&A, financing and security, energy & natural resources, insurance and employment law.
For the past 25 years in Indonesia, Robert has been acting for multinational and local clients in a wide variety of significant commercial projects. Robert has also had extensive experience advising clients on the establishment and structuring of new investments in Indonesia, including drafting joint venture and shareholders’ agreements, as well as advising on a broad range of corporate operational matters.
With a background in common law and developed expertise in the civil law, Robert can provide practical, commercial advice that takes into consideration an understanding of both legal systems.
