Michael has acted for Indonesian and international clients on various civil and criminal law matters, including complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. His experience includes advising and representing clients in high-stakes bankruptcy and suspension of payment proceedings, intricate construction disputes, commercial litigation disputes, as well as criminal matters.

WORK HIGHLIGHTS
- Represented the Indonesian unit of a France-based multinational integrated oil and gas company as a respondent in an arbitration proceeding at the BANI Arbitration Centre in relation to an EPSC contract dispute regarding the construction of offshore platforms, with claims amounting to US$40 Million.
- Represented a German multinational personal-care product company in a dispute brought before the South Jakarta District Court, and a secured a settlement valued at approximately US$70 million.
- Represented numerous clients in suspension of payment and bankruptcy proceedings before Indonesian Commercial Courts, as counsel to both debtors and creditors.
