Soemadipradja & Taher’s Managing Partner, Ardian Deny Sidharta (Deny), was recently invited to speak at a workshop on Risk Assessment and the Application of the Business Judgement Rule (BJR) held by PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) from 26 to 28 November 2025.

Deny delivered a comprehensive session covering the definition and general regulatory framework of the BJR, followed by an overview of the relevant institutions and legal provisions governing its application. He also discussed several court decisions that illustrate how BJR has been interpreted and applied in various corporate contexts in Indonesia, providing participants with practical, case-based insights.

The workshop concluded with a discussion on risk mitigation strategies that companies may adopt to support prudent decision-making in capital participation activities. This programme contributes to strengthening participants’ understanding of BJR and enhancing good corporate governance practices within PT SMI.
