Soemadipradja & Taher collaborates with Hylands Law Firm on Waste-to-Energy Seminar

We are pleased to have collaborated with Hylands Law Firm of China to hold a seminar in Jakarta, exploring the legal frameworks governing Chinese waste-to-energy investment in Indonesia. The seminar, which was held on 14 January 2026 and co-organised with PT One Way Indonesia Investment Consulting, brought together legal practitioners and industry leaders to discuss the practicalities of the current regulatory environment.

Our Partner Denia Isetianti joined Jessie Yao (Senior Partner, Hylands Law Firm) and Frederick Du (Legal Head, Indonesian Region, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd) in sharing insights on investment structures within the waste-to-energy sector and the evolving regulatory requirements facing the Indonesian mining industry.
